1.2 Reflection - My Pathway

MY POSSIBLE PATHWAY BEYOND HIGH SCHOOL

Please complete the steps below:

1. Navigate to:  https://www.educationplannerbc.ca/

* We encourage you to sign up for a free account to save your progress

2. Select ‘Plan’ to plan your journey to post-secondary
   

3. Choose from one of the three choices below:
   

4. For ‘Undergraduate’ or ‘French Language’ you will type a career that you may be thinking of in the search space (ex. Journalism).  Several options will appear from different institutions.  For ‘Trades’ you will go to the Skilled Trades BC site (https://skilledtradesbc.ca/) and click ‘Find Your Trade’ where you will be able to scroll down and type a trade into the ‘Find your trade’ search box.

5. Once you have chosen a course of study that interests you, create a page on your portfolio called ‘My Pathway’ and add the following information:

   • Program Type (ex. Undergraduate, Trades, etc..)
   • Credential (ex. Degree, Diploma, Certificate)
   • Program Length
   • Cost
   • 3 Possible Careers Associated

6. Send an online text in the Reflection - My Pathway link to your teacher that you have completed this exercise, and let your teacher  know the choice.
