FAMILY VACATION
This assignment will require you to include another actor in addition to yourself. This might be a family member, a friend, or anyone else you trust. Imagine that you and this other individual have been on a recent holiday together. You traveled somewhere interesting, but things did not go according to plan. Create a series of at least 6 tableau images that will tell the story of your not-so-good holiday.
While you should certainly consider your characters’ costumes and the setting for these tableaus, the most important thing to consider is your body language. You’ll need to think about ACTING with your body, but also about DIRECTING your scene partner so that their body communicates just as effectively.
Criteria:
- You need to be in each photo
- You must use at least ONE additional actor
- These are images, NOT videos
- The tableaus are viewable in a single document (like a PowerPoint presentation or Google Slide)
- You’ve made an effort to effectively costume your characters
- You’ve made an effort to communicate your scene’s location in the background
- You use your body language (and facial expressions) to communicate your character’s emotions and attitudes
