POWER

For this task, you’ll choose ONE of the genres listed earlier and create another work of art, using a provided THEME to guide your creative process. You’ll also write a short paragraph to describe your creation using at least three vocabulary words from this section. You may continue to explore the same type of visual art or choose something different. Follow a tutorial video, find your own, or branch out on your own.

The theme you must use for inspiration is: POWER.

For example, you might be interested in sculpting. You could choose to sculpt a lion’s head with its mouth wide open, roaring as it asserts its dominance over the savannah (a recognizable display of power). You may do anything you like, as long as the theme is recognizable.

Criteria:

• At least one piece of art is created.
• The theme is recognizable.
• Photo or video evidence of the art is turned in.
• Three vocabulary words are used in the written portion.
