We can’t all be Jim Carrey (we wouldn’t want to hurt ourselves). But we can learn from him. If you haven’t already watched the video, go back and take a look. Open your phone’s messaging app and notice the different emojis you might use while texting. Find a mirror and spend some time re-creating these emojis using only your face. How many can you do? Which ones are challenging? Which ones are easy?

For this task, you’ll create a collage of facial expressions. You’ll photograph yourself as you re-create the emojis that are commonly found in our messaging apps. For each re-creation, include a photo of YOU as well as the original emoji. You’ll need to create a single file that will house all these photos. It could be a collage on a single image, it could be a PDF, or it could even be a PowerPoint presentation. Whatever you choose, just make sure it's a single file.

Criteria:

9 emojis re-created
YOU are in the photos
Photos are clear and in focus
Each photo includes a corresponding emoji (to show which is being re-created)
Turn this in as a single file – not multiple files
